Was it the constant cooing coming from the region below his balls? And, pigeons are fairly delicate creatures. One mischance fart could have killed the pair of them.

What do you say when you get busted doing something like this? I know what I’d do. I’d look down, scratch my head and say “Now how the hell did they get there?“
